Census 2010 – Bay Head, New Jersey The data for the 2010 Census is presently being compiled across Ocean County and all throughout the United States. The Census serves as a basis for state and federal grants (i.e., funding for infrastructure improvements and services), and is also used to determine elected representation in both the state and federal legislatures. It is therefore imperative that an accurate count of Bay Head’s population in the Census be had, and for that we need each resident’s help. If you spend most of the year in Bay Head, and consider it your “usual residence,” (i.e., where you live and sleep most of the time), then you must be counted for purposes of the Census as residing in Bay Head.
