Emergency Announcement by the Bay Head Police Department

The Bay Head Police Department reports that over the past 24 hours, there have been three stolen vehicles in our direct area, one of which was from Main Avenue in Bay Head. Residents are reminded to lock their vehicles at all times, and report any suspicious activity to the Police IMMEDIATELY. Also, DO NOT leave your keys, wallets, purses, or anything else of value in your vehicle when you are not in it. The suspects that are stealing these vehicles are then using them to commit violent crimes, which was the result of one of the stolen vehicles last night. The stolen vehicle from Bay Head was also involved in multiple police pursuits over the last 24 hours. BHPD is happy to report that the stolen vehicle from Main Avenue was recovered in Newark earlier this morning.
