Here are some things that are happening in Bay Head that you might like to know about or that would be helpful to you.
Good news! The modular construction of our new Borough hall will begin on December 29 and be completed by January 15, 2016. Final completion of the building is expected to be August 1, 2016.
Our congressman, Chris Smith, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers have agreed to include Twilight Lake in a study of New Jersey’s back bays. This will support coastal community readiness and reduce the ramifications of flooding.
East Avenue from Osborne in Bay Head to Lyman Street in Mantoloking will be paved curb to curb, most likely in early Spring 2016, as will Osborne, Johnson and Bridge Avenue east of Route 35.
After the gas company and the water company complete their work, the blacktop sidewalk squares around Bay Head will be restored to cement.
When the repair work on Osborne Avenue is completed, we will push the County to pave Osborne curb to curb from Bay Avenue to Route 35 and Lake Avenue from Osborne to Twilight Road and beyond.
