The beaches in the Borough of Bay Head are operated independently by the Bay Head Improvement Association (B.H.I.A.) and not by the Borough Government. The Borough of Bay Head does not own, operate or maintain the beaches. All beaches are open to the public.

Beach Badge & Office Information
Application have been sent out to all residents.
Badge will be required from June 20th through Labor Day.

The Office will be Closed Memorial Day Weekend.
May 30th & 31st 10:00am - 2:00pm
June 6th & 7th 10:00am - 2:00pm
June 13th & 14th 10:00am - 2:00pm
June 15th-19th 10:00am - 2:00pm
June 20th - Sept 7th 2026 9:30am-4:30pm

Pricing Information
Understanding the cost of beach badges is crucial for budgeting your summer activities. Here’s a breakdown of the typical pricing:
Full Seasonal Badges: $120 Half Season Badge are $65.
Daily Passes: $15 per day, perfect for a Day down at the shore.
