Mission Statement

The Mission of the Bay Head Fire Department is to serve and protect the lives and property of the residents of, and visitors to, the Borough of Bay Head by providing a timely and efficient response to all fires and other emergencies or whenever the Fire Department is called to duty.

We will accomplish our mission through basic and advanced training and education for all active members, fire prevention and public education.

Safety Mesasage:

Fire Prevention and Life Loss Prevention are a year round practice of the Bay Head Fire Company.  Assist us and help keep your family safe by paying attenetion to all of the following:

1. Make sure that all fire alarms are working and operational.
2. Have fire extinguishers available and know how to use them.
3. Be sure that propane tanks are always in the off position when not in use.  And always store them properly.
4. Never dispose of oil soaked rags in your trash or leave to dry in a ball.
5. Maintain fireplaces by having flue cleaned and always be careful when removing embers.
6. Always know where exits are in case of a fire.
