Finance Department

The Finance Department is responsible for the receipt, safeguarding, investment, and disbursement of municipal funds, which include purchasing, tax collection, accounts payable, pension and payroll.

The Finance Office is responsible for the payment of the Borough’s bills. The Finance Office issues Purchase Orders and vouchers to vendors for the payment of obligations that are incurred by the Borough.

In addition, the Finance Department is responsible for creating the annual operations of the capital budget, tracking expenditures against the budget, submitting the budget approved by the governing body to the State of New Jersey and reporting budget status to the governing body on an ongoing basis.
