The tax collector is responsible for the collection of all delinquent, current and future property taxes and conducting tax lien sales. As the Tax Search Officer, the collector is also responsible for preparing tax, lien and assessment searches.

Tax bills are mailed in June for the following payments:

• February 1
• May 1
• August 1
• November 1

The payment is delinquent after 10 days. If you mail your payment it must be received by the Tax Collectors Office on the 10th of the month. Payments received on the 11th, regardless of the postmark will be considered late. When the 10th of the month is a Holiday, the 11th will be granted and when the 10th is a weekend day the following Monday will be the last day before any interest in charged.

The Tax Office also issues Sewer Bills. These bills are based on the number of fixtures in the home. This information is obtained from the Borough’s records on each house in the Construction Office and Tax Assessor’s Office. These bills are mailed in June and are due on July 1. Sewer bills are delinquent after 30 days,

If you do not receive a tax or sewer bill, you are still obligated to make a timely payment. Please contact the Tax Office at the number above to report not receiving a tax or sewer bill. Changes to your address should be mailed to the Tax Collector.
