Beach Information
The beaches in the Borough of Bay Head are operated independently by the Bay Head Improvement Association (B.H.I.A.) and not by the Borough Government. The Borough of Bay Head does not own, operate or maintain the beaches. All beaches are open to the public.

Full season membership applications for Summer 2023 have been mailed to all taxpayers of Bay Head. If you would like an application, and have not yet received one, please contact the BHIA.
This year's seasonal membership fee is $100.00 per badge. Badges are not required for children under the age of 12. Badges may be picked up at the BHIA's office, 532 Lake Avenue (located on the corner of Lake Avenue and Mount Street, near Sotheby Realtors in the Sandy Rail Building). Starting June 17th, the office will be open daily through Labor Day. Office hours are 9:30 am to 4:30 pm seven days a week. Badges will be required as of Saturday, June 17th.
