Noise Ordinance
In effect 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Any “loud, unnecessary, or unusual noise...which is likely to annoy, disturb, or endanger the comfort, health, peace, or safety of others” is considered a violation. Includes loud music, televisions, yelling or shouting, animals or birds, horns, or vehicle exhausts.

Construction Ordinance
Commercial construction may occur between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Commercial activities on Saturdays may not be conducted. Commercial activities are strictly prohibited on Saturdays, Sundays, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.

Property owners may conduct construction activities on property they own or lease between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

“Commercial activities” includes excavation, demolition, construction, repair, alteration, landscaping, or lawn cutting work, including, but not limited to, work performed by plumbing, electrical, carpentry, landscaping, masonry, tile, demolition, or excavating contractors.

Vehicles/Fires on the Beach
Vehicles and fires on the beaches are prohibited at all times. Only police vehicles and maintenance equipment are permitted on the beach.

Train Station Parking
Parking at the Osborne Avenue Station is located in the parking lot on the South side of the street. Please park within the marked spaces. There is no fee to park in the lot. Handicap parking is available in the two spaces adjacent to the passenger shelter. Otherwise, the area on the north side of Osborne Avenue adjacent to the platform is for pick up and drop off of passengers only and parking is not permitted in this area. Vehicles parked in this area will be issued summonses.
